Pride '94 festival is back on Public Square
The Sixth Annual Cleveland Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Pride will be held Saturday, June 11. The March will step off at noon from Trinity Cathedral, E. 22nd and Euclid and the Festival will
run from 12:30 to 6:00 pm in Public Square's Northwest Quadrant.
This year's theme is Community of Pride-reflecting an effort to do increased outreach in our community.
The March: Pride seeks individuals and groups to march, carry banners, make floats. Fundraising: Pride, celebrating the acquisition of its 501.c.3 nonprofit status, will be holding bar nights as fundraisers and other special events. Have an idea? Want to do a Pride promotion/fundraiser at your business or for your group? Give us a call.

The Pride Planning Committee welcomes all to participate in the event. Here's how you, your group, organization or business can help or get involved:
Planning Committee: All are welcome to get involved. Next meeting: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm, The Tuna Club (upstairs), Euclid Ave. at E. 6th, May 11, 18, 25, June 1 & June 8.
Promote your event in Pride mailing: Pride '94 will send out a community mailing on May 16. Include a flyer about your event. Nominal fee to help defray costs. Must have 2,100 pieces by May 15.
List your Pride event: in the full page Pride '94 ad in the next issue of the Chronicle, both Cleveland and Columbus editions. We will list your pride event in our next advertisement. Just give us a call.
Outreach: Pride seeks groups to get involved. Pride also seeks volunteers to visit group meetings and events to promote Pride.

Festival exhibit area: Pride is seeking businesses and organizations for an expanded vending area this year. Call for your exhibit application. First come, first serve.
Entertainment: If you can dance, sing, make people laugh, inspire, motivate, get people thinking and just plain entertain, then Pride would like to put you on stage. Call to find out how.
Day of event: Pride seeks 150 volunteers for day of event coordination, march peacekeepers, volunteer security, vendor set-up, concessions, raffle, stage crew, logistics and more. Sign up as an individual or a group.
